my coral band shrimp lost one claw. will he be ok and they don't grow one back do they?

I had one do that right after I bought it. The next time it molts it will probably grow it back with the molt. Mine did.

He will be fine and as stated it will grow back generally in one molt. How did he lose it..is something harassing him?

yes try to find out why he lost his claw!
when i had one it lost both claws when i was netting him out, but after he molted both claws grew back

Ha ha had the same thing happen when we moved our tank. All I hear is uh-oh from my boyfriend and I look over and there's claws in the net but no shrimp. He didn't believe my at all when I told them they would came back but about a week later he was back to normal. Really makes them look funny without the big claws and mine hid the whole time they were gone but is just fine now.
