Truly amazing to think about the capacity of our animal friends to feel sorrow over the loss of their masterfriend

It is poignant and quite sad. It made me think of the video of the soldier who returned home to his great dane that was going around the last couple weeks. I have to admit I teared up. God rest the young mans soul and as trite as it may sound, I wish his doggy the best also. A WWI veteran I knew had a mix breed of some sort, but when he died out in the desert, his dog layed next to him for over a day until his wife found his body. The little guy never ate or drank again and died a week later. His wife had them buried together.

dogs are as loyal as they come as pets .really part of the family.i cant remember the name of the movie off the top of my head but.it was a true story with an akita and richard gere(spelling)
i have to ask my wife.if you havent seen it it will make you cry for sure(unless you are heartless)i dont like watching a movie you know is going to be sad even before you start watching it but this was a great film.
