Ok I have a couple choices here and I just can't decide.
I was told that 20K's offer the best color, but I have to choose between 2 250W or 2 400W for a 65G. I'm also going to be running two 55W PC's for dawn, dusk affect with the 400W or All the time for the 250's
Now I can get 2 400W 20K's and just have my 03's turn on for one hour before and after the MH's tunr on and off this is 800W of light in the tank during the day 12.3 Watts per gallon (very overkill and I would have to buy a chiller right now.)
Now I want good color but I also want more than just 500W of light on my tank during the day with 2 250's 7.6W a gallon. so I want to get a bulb that is going to need blue supplimentation. I think I've decided on the Hamilton 14K's or the 12K's running with both the 55W PC's all day long. To give me 610W or 9.3W a gallon. So What do you think my best choice is goign to be 12K or 14K's? I'm leaning towards 12.
