One of my damsels can't seem to swim upward...???

Hello,
I am observing some pretty bizarre swim behavior in one of my damsels. The best way I can describe it is that it looks as though he swallowed a small ball of lead, because he has trouble swimming upward. It's not as if he struggles because he looks sick and is sluggish--it literally looks like he is being pulled downward. All my other fish are fine.
I'm a newbie, and have no idea what this could be. Any ideas? Is he about to bite the dust?
Thanks,
Robb>>>

Hmm...would that be due to the transition of the water? I forgot to mention this started happening very soon after a water change...could that have had an impact on his "air bladder" ?

You find that funny? Seriously? I have no idea why you are allowed to continue to pollute these boards.

Not slamming SWF because it's their board that they provide but on every other forum I have ever been a member of, there are posting guidelines. Proper grammar, meaning not perfect English but no text speak is required. We have members here who don't always type the most understandable posts but their love of the hobby is evident and when people have like interests, they will bridge many gaps. There is a difference between someone struggling to name things and explain things in English and someone just writing complete nonsense.
People on forums, whether they are rescue, aquarium, education, etc, will always have differing opinions and because of that there will be friction at times. That is the forum dynamic that makes it such a useful tool for people to learn.
I sincerely do not feel, this is a learning situation, there is so much contradicting and just bizarre information going on and when specifically asked to assist in being able to understand their chaotic dribble, the person makes mocking comments. Little moments of clarity exist that suggest that this person is not the rube they want people to think they are.

Ya know...I have been wondering the same thing

I've been wondering the same thing. Have you noticed that the mods are basically absent from the boards lately. I think we should just bombard the mods inbox with complaints about this moron until they atleast warn them.

It's not good.
I know my guard is up and why it isn't directed at anyone, I really don't feel like going into great detail helping someone out only to have it be "another".
I am basically being blamed for Grammysomeone for them leaving the board because I was so harsh and rude. I was in a hurry when I typed my response, I was running out to help a friend move and was killing some time waiting for the truck. I wasn't being rude, I wasn't very elaborate with my response, largely because it puzzled me that someone would add water, then salt, then later add sand and rock. The order puzzled me and I halfway thought they were yet another troll. Even so, I was concise but not rude.
I know that I probably need to take another break for the board.

I'm actually a little disappointed in the mods lately. I think the problem is that so many "regulars" left the board since the new upgrade that the idiot/trolls have sort of over run things lately. It's getting really annoying. I flipped on Wayner not that long ago due to my frustration.

The question she asked was very open ended and honestly, if she hadn't come back to defend herself, I would have assumed it was another troll as well. Further past that, this was obviously someone who hadn't done much research for asking a simple question like that and doing things the way she is going about them.

I know that I probably need to take another break for the board. NOOOOOOOOO
