One of my fish died.

OK, so
I bought two Greem Chromis at a place in Maryland about a week ago. Put them in the tank, they did fine. Then on Saturday I bought two more Green Chromis from the local *****. They did wonderful- they didn't hide when I came or anything. I noticed that one of my original fish was basically staying in the same place yesterday, but he was still moving around a little bit. Last night I checked my fish before going to bed, and he was sitting on the bottom of my tank (in between the LR and glass) breathing very rapidly. I figured that I would let him sit it out, and I had no clue what was happening. His condition deteriorated very fast yesterday. By this morning, I looked in my tank. I only have three Green Chromis now.

The front of his head was brown when I took him out..... other than that he seemed ok. When he was sick, nothing was off colour. What happened??????

Mostly like scared to death due to aggression of the dominate fish in the school. Very common with these fish.

hey man I use to work at ***** im going to tell you right now dont buy saltwater fish from them. The people that worked at the petcos I worked at didnt know anything about saltwater fish and the fish were treated poorly. So you probley just got a fish that was hella stressed from the store. IM sure you didnt stress it out im sure the fish was probley already stressed when you got it. I could be wrong though but could be one of the factors of the problem. I wish you luck in the future/

My ***** fish are much better than the ones from the other place.... the people there are good with fish too. The fish get proper care. The one from the place in MD is the one that died.

The only fish I have had die was from oetco the other day I was in there and every tank and fish they have has ich. I wil never buy from ***** again. Just about lost every fish I have in my big tank. Thank God for kick ich.

Well... my other original fish passed on today. The exact same symptoms as the other one, however this one had a scratch on his side. I took a look under the scratch.... and found a weird black thing that let out green stuff. It had just died when I did this. His condition deteriorated rapidly.... Neither of these two fish ate. My ***** fish are doing very well though.

The marks were made by me. He was perfectly fine, except for 1-2 scales missing on the side facing the camera.
