I have had 2 percs for about a year in my 30G tank. They started out the same size, but one seemed to have gotten bigger than the other. Recently, the smaller one has been doing a "shaking" movement, does this mean anything?
it means it's cold...
just kidding
growing large means the larger has become a female, shaking of the smaller one means submission from the small fish to the big fish. they are on their way to become a couple.
Has anyone heard of the larger of the two submitting to the smaller one?
My wife, after the death of one of our original pair, introduced into her tank a small perc which shed dominance over the larger. The larger one has been relegated to hiding in the live rock. What do you think is going on there?
