(red text) – It’s sad that you automatically assume – foolishly - that someone with some training, and ability with firearms could only exact a self-inflicted wound. It’s truly pathetic that a sorry, anti-gun neophyte with a perverted outlook would assume that not only should the island in question be void of safely managed weapons, but any "law enforcement" officers there should only be authorized to carry - - what? A flashlight? Some mace? Maybe a little baton? Please visit Juarez Mexico on your next vacation…..with any luck, you’ll not be decapitated by drug-lords
(blue text) - Please check your records – Beck left Fox because the upper management there could only stand so much truth being exposed about George Soros, and the left wing machine…. Prior to Beck arriving at Fox – he had a little show on CNN – for about 2 years…..speaking the truth on that network was/is quite unacceptable, so he wound up with his own 1 hour program on Fox @ 5pm est. During his tenure and growth at Fox, Dominating the 5pm time slot – he exposed the true evil nature of Soros/Obama and their shadow minions on the left, eventually to the point the execs at Fox couldn’t take the heat from the left wing machine. He begins his own "no holds barred" / "the truth will set you free" online network on 9/12/11 (GBTV)….. you will soon wish he only had a 1 hour/day program. How many have been fired/suspended from MSNBC? - remind me, I can only count to 5.
(green text) - Gee – they used to use the same language regarding gays - Now do you like yelling – "Your Christian, You’re here, stay in the closet and don’t pollute the world with your lifestyle"???……happier now? So what if God told someone to put up a cross….What do you care? Ignore it and go on. As far as "eradicating" all Muslims – NO where in the
biblical texts in ANY translation (new OR old testament) are mentioned the words "eradicate/kill/force/murder" those who do not believe…it’s more like mentor/show the way/ lead by example/share the word of God/minister. It’s totally up to you to decide to listen or not…The Koran is quite different, when you read that "the ones who refuse "their" holy conversion are infidels", and subject to be killed in the holy name of Allah – that’s a little more radical….And I hold suspect any religion that promises some awkward form of sexual gratification via virgins in an afterlife - that must be rather odd - I mean who really wants to fornicate with a bunch of virgins???? 72 of them no less? No thanks - Goodbye -I'm out.
(black text) - By your own statistics, then the death penalty is a punishment, as observed by those who deserve it AND by the vast majority of society.....The problem with prisons these days is that "punishment" and"re-habilitation"
have become the same thing. We have converted a system that used to be miserable and unpleasant and used to deter people from getting involved with, into a system that is comfortable and pleasant......It provides access to 3 meals a day, full air-conditioning/heating, cable TV, satellite TV, laundry is taken care of, recreation provided, free access to library, dental, medical, education, work programs, job programs, access to the outside world thru phone & mail, congical visits, amentiies, perks, time off for "being good" , furlows, etc. etc.... You libs thru the ACLU turned our prisons into "daycare centers" decades ago... When the prison system is tough enough to make hardened criminals want to commit suicide rather than go back - then re-habilitation takes care of itself.
I had to look up Xanex to see what it was, but you seem to be much more familiar with it than I. Please check your dosage
Seriusly. I've neer seen someone get so riled up over a simple comment. You must be a REAL interesting individual to be around. I sure wouldn't want to get you upset. The word "postal" comes to mind.
Actually, I was in Juarez just last month on business. A couple years ago, I used to actually go shopping and eat at some of the local restaurants before heading back to the US. Not today. They say it's safer to drive around Bagdhad than it is in Juarez. Sad you wish me harm by visiting a place like that.
Also sad you idolize that useless moron Glenn Beck. He's apparently done a Jim Jones on you, and has you brainwashed to believe everything he says. If that's your idea of a hero or mentor, you are in dire need of a reality check.
Most individuals who have concealed weapons permits have not been adequately trained to handle scenarios like the one that occurred in Norway. There are multiple instances of our military servicemen who have been extensively trained prior to being deployed into a combat environment that literally froze when put into the middle of a firefight. It's called human nature. It's one thing to point a gun at some paper target, and another to come face-to-face with another live human being that also has a weapon pointing at you. Mace and bats are no match for a Ruger Mini-14 and Glock semi-automatic pistol that this guy was carrying. Half the people he killed didn't even realie what was going on because he was dressed like a police officer. They initially thought he was the "good guy".
I'd say 95% of the people I know and work with believe and practice some form of religion. Some speak of activities their churches have, and offer events that the public are happy to attend. But that's about the extent of their conversations regarding their religious beliefs. They don't sit around citing Bible verses, or saying God told them to hug a tree that day. Bachmann and Perry are prime examples of religious zealots that also practice politics. If they want to believe God talks to them, that's fine with me. Just don't inject those beliefs into your political decisions. Some Christian beliefs don't coincide with Methodist, Catholic, Lutheran, or Muslim beliefs. No one specific religion should take precedence over another.

I don't care what the Bible says. This guy on this other forum specifically stated there are approximately 160 million Muslim Jihadist that need to be "irradicated" from this planet. He says their Muslim faith does not belong in America, and they have no business practicing here. He followed this comment with some mundane Bible scripture. Is this your idea of practicing religion?
There are just as many Conservatives that believe in our prison system as there are liberals. Go look where some of these cushy prisons are located, and which political party dominates the state they reside. I don't advocate any prison to be "soft". I AGREE WITH YOU. I'm all for chain gangs, pounding rocks with a hammer, hard labor. Cool Hand Luke comes to mind.
