One year ago this week

One year ago this week my friend talked me into taking his 35G hex, lights, powerheads cc and skimmer. I agreed and let him set up but told him I more than likely wouldn't do anything more with it. Wife was not happy.
Well a few weeks later the family and I stopped at the lfs, daughter wanted a Nemo. When we arrived we found out they were going out of business. Everthing was 50% off. Left with live rock salt test kits books more less everthing I needed to be a reefer never to look back. Now the wife wants a 125+G tank

Hehehehe.....can't believe you fell for the here, hold on to my tank for me routine! Sure does look nice though- can't wait to see the 125+ down the road.

Haha, I have a similar situation...
Started out with a 3 gallon.
Now I have a 30 gallon.
It's like you're the non-broke version of me!
...WIth hope, though, after college, I'll be able to add another 0 to that 30 gallon
