Only 1 Fish Rubs Itself on Sand

Hey guys,
How come out of all my fish, only my lawnmower blenny keeps rubbing itself on the sandbed? It's been doing that for 2 weeks now (since the day I got it) and it's the only fish that does it. All the fish look good, no white spots on them, and they eat like pigs.

Don't know! Maybe it's a parasite. I have had my LMB for almost a year and I've never seen it do that... :notsure:

It seems to me he's got some kind of parasites. Some fishes are more susceptible to external parasites than others. It is also possible that some become symptomatic while others show no sign of disease whatsoever, depending upon many factors including the overall health...etc. You can treat him in a QT tank using chelated copper sulfate.

I contacted LFS and he said that LMB's tend to stay close to the sandbed a lot of times, more than most other fish, and that the sandbed can contain bacteria and such that may cause the LMB to itch. Don't know if this makes sense or if it's true.
He also said that it may be just internal to this fish only and will not affect other fish.
