I decided to start a new tank. It's a pico. I decided to post in the reef section since its not as dead as the nano section. The goal of this tank is not to spend money on it and use existing materials. I started the tank for two reasons I am bored and there's a nano build contest on another forum. I figure what the heck it won't cost me anything and it will be neat.

Pico tanks can be very beautiful...
But not spending any money on them at all is difficult! I wish you the best of luck...

So what's your filtration? I see a tube...but...where does it go?

My filtration is live rock, *gasp* an airstone, and water changes. I'm thinking of doing natural light, but I am open to suggestions. I'm excited to make this pico work. I already have my first hater.

Umm...I don't think so. I'll have to look into it. It might be red turf or coralline. The frog is actually a sea turtle lol. It's Crush from Finding Nemo.
I'm going to keep a sexy shrimp, zoas, rics and some macro. I think. I'm open to ideas. The tank has cleared up.

you only had the one bad comment, about he wouldn't keeping anything living in there. And you jump on him, he had no rebuttal. Other comments were favarable. Really only a half a gallon it looks bigger than that, i would put any living thing in there,

How about put this fish in there, he would fit.
