Now that you've raised it for better light and he's "fleshing out...is he starting to eat...?
Mine liked ground squid at the beginning, then "chunks" and now will eat krill, squid, and silversides...

I haven't tried to feed him meaty foods yet. I'm going to have a problem with that as he's in a med flow area and I think anything I place by him will blow away.
I'll probably have to turn of my powerhead to try and feed him.
I'm going to let him settle a little and try next week feeding him meaty foods.
He's looking a lot better.

Turning the powerhead off while feeding is probably a good idea...
They can be "slow" to grab and secure their food if not already in the feeding "mode" (tentacles extended)

This was with him at toward the top of the tank. I haven't feed him any solids yet, but will be soon trying. Looks like he's doing a 1000% better.
HE's full in this picture :)
Thanks to everyone.

My brain was doing well until I put a bicolor angel in the tank. She started to pick on him. I moved him to a place where my tomato clown was hanging out in my mushroom and she kept the angel away from him. I was also worried about moving him off the bottom and to a little cup like area on the live rock. Bu he's doing great! He has grown in the last 2 months and nobody picks on him there. I'll post a pic in a little bit.
I am surprised at how sometimes things like places they are not normally said to thrive in. Reef versatility!

Tahoe Ocean,
How are you 'securing' him down, if at all?
I was thinking of supergluing him to a piece of frag rock that way I can move him around if needed.
dont' know though, but i need to do something, he go swung around by a fish today and had to straighen him out :)

Actually, he fit into a cup shaped area of the live rock. I didn't have to glue him. I honestly don't know if I could ever get him out though, he's huge now.

I'm trying to attach the pic, but after our computer crashed and we had to start over, I no longer have the program for photos that I was most comfy with. Resizing is tough on the new one.
