How do you tell if your coral such as a metallic open brain is getting enough food. It seems to be doing OK but in the last week I have noticed two times with the lights on he, she, it had it's tentacles out and mouths open. Normally I only see this with a flashlight after the lights are off.
Should I start putting more food (phytoplankton) in the water or the same amount more often? Should I (do I have to) feed it Krill or something? If so how often? I really don't want to get in the habit of feeding every little coral with a mouth if I don't have to, I prefer to let them filter feed if that is enough.
Thanks
