Open top tanks??

OK, so I really am getting close to adding MH to my cube. I am most concerned with the possibility of critters escaping though. My snails can find their way into my filter with the top on, what is to stop them, (or my clowns for that matter), from getting out? :notsure: :notsure:

if you're going to halide you do most likely want an open top... but if using retro use a canopy and if using enclosed fixture use light diffuser

I just ordered a Finnex 150w MH with 36w actinic. Looks like I need to get some of that stuff!!

get the new K-2 Viper instead. It's a metal halides designed specifically for JBJ nano tanks. I got mine and love it.

Looked at it pretty hard, but I wanted the actinic. It is amazing what a lack of combo light fixtures for nano's there are. It seems to be the best fit for the cube size wise though. I'll let you know how it works out.
