Good luck out there, if you see the wielly boar out there, think of me......I can't wait until Feb. after your deer season. Where are you at in Texas? Close to what major city? The ranch we go to is a deer hunting ranch, big money for deer. Couple of years ago a guy shot a $10,000 deer, drew blood had to pay and never found the deer. He even hired a chopper to fly the ranch a couple of times lookin for him..never did find it. This ranch doesn't have the high fences tho. just a working cattle ranch but deer is their main focus.

I am in Temple which is 60 miles north of Austin on I-35.

Even more sad is that my rich uncle does all the sweet Wyoming elk hunts and the like on top of deer nearby, lives a few hours away, but definitely isn't one to invite someone along.

I run a 30 ought 6. Sadly, since moving and not knowing anyone around that even owns a gun, I don't think I'll be hunting ANYTHING anytime soon. Even more sad is that my rich uncle does all the sweet Wyoming elk hunts and the like on top of deer nearby, lives a few hours away, but definitely isn't one to invite someone along.

I didn't see hardly anything. The full moon kind of screwed up the hunting. Hopefully next weekend will be better.

I guess I didn't think about the blood in my hog picture. Sorry if I offended anyone.
Up here in Montana that is just the way of life. Even though that was taken in Texas.

Yes, great Hog pic. I've seen to many pics. like these deleted because of it so I tried to clean it up by cropping. Does no justice to me not to be able to see the entire thing, but hey, it's a family oriented site. I went Wild Boar hunting on the big Island of Hawaii. BIG PIGS.
