Hi,
I have a 55G tank that is mostly fish with some inverts. I am thinking about moving towards a reef after the holidays. I will be getting some new PC and new PH for the tank. I think most of my fish are reef safe, but am concerned about my Coral Beauty. I already have some nice mushrooms and want to add to that...i would just like some more varity in my tank, but something that my CB won't bother. Here's what is in my tank now:
1 Coral Beauty
1 Royal Gramma
2 False Percs
1 Anthias (female lyretail)
4 Green Chromis
1 Yellow Watchman
1 Yellowtail Damsel
2 Featherdusters
1 Cleaner Shrimp
1 Peppermint Shrimp
4-5 scarlet Leg Hermits
3 Blue Leg Hermits
3 Nassarus Snails
1 unknown hermit (big left claw, will post pic if I have it)
I am open to suggestions to ease into a reef. Here are a few pics:

Well that looks great. Put some lights on it and let her rip! Nice aquascape I must add. Do you have a skimmer?
The coral beauty will be fine.
Is that hermits big claw white on the tip and black (or dark brown) at the base? He'll leave everything but the snails alone.

I have had a coral beauty in my DT for two years with all kinds of inverts/corals without any problem. I have heard that like many angles, they can pick at lps and clam mantles. The PC lighting should be ok for mushrooms/most leathers. If you want more light demanding inhabitants..clams/sps/anenomes, then yoi should opt for T5s and/or MH lighting.

Thanks...I have heard mixed things on the Coral Beauty.....I am just wondering about zoos...would love to have a couple of small different colored zoos. I am also thinking of a leather, maybe a ricordea, green star polyps and different colored mushrroms. I want some Xenia, but someone told me the CB would eat it.
I do have a skimmer...a bakpak2. I believe that crab is a Hawaiian Zebra Hermit, but I am not sure. He has been fine with my three large Astreas. Oops, I left those off my list above.
