Revised Fish List. The ones I took out won't work for you in that tank.

Wow, that fishload would need like a 250 gallon tank at least.
All of the tangs need more space and will get much larger, and the angel is a very poor choice.
In a 55, you could do some clowns, the cardinals, the anthias, and a dwarf angel, not a large angel.

are you planning on adding those 5 new fish to the 8 you already have or replacing the old with the new??

are you kidding?? those 13 fish wouldnt fit in a 250g. Youre gonna either have nitrates thru the roof or do 35% water changes every day. Even still they will die of ich from the stress of being in so small a tank.
DO NOT ADD ANY MORE FISH!

IMO your headed for a disaster with 13 fish in a 55 gallon. And these fish get big. I second getting rid of all the tangs except the yellow and keeping only 1 species of clown. But hey its your tank. Let us know how it all works out for you.
IMHO i would suggest researching before buying.

Know whats funny? One can keep 2 Oscars in a 20 gallon tanks. Even when they start pooping turds the size of my dogs the water quality is still fine. How can it be factual that a fish such as a Yello Tang that doesnt get near as big needs more than 55 gallons. Dont forget statistically a yellow Tang has better staying alive power than the African Chiclid. Please explain

Who are you getting these statistics from? I have kept both and I will tell you, African Cichlids are a whole lot easier to care for. There is no doubt about that whatsoever.
And as far as the water quality being fine, that definitely is not true. That is neglectful if you keep 2 oscars in a 20 gallon for thier life.
Yellow tangs need a bigger tank because they need more swimming room.

What are your paremeters now?? unless all of those fish are babies, you have high nitrates. Dont even post saying your nitrates are 0 or even 10 or 20. Unless you do daily water changes of over 30% your nitrates are in the red guaranteed.

Not just yellow tangs. ALL tangs need more swimming room.

tangs are very delicate fish and grow large and need a lot of swimming room and a yellow tang wont even beable to stay in a 55 its whaole life and 2 oscars cant be in a 20 gallon tank they grow like 2 feet but anyway do what you want and kill all of your fish so i hope you upgrade or get rid of a third of your fish because they will all die and its going to be bad but do what you want nobodys going to stop you

Fish that are swimmers obviously need alot of room to be happy. By their shape and design tangs are swimmers. Thats what makes them happy. Oscars can sit all day not moving and be thrilled to death.
What are your water parameters now???

you see how many gallons you have and how many inches of fish you have and put 1 inch of fish per 5 gallons and in your 55 you can only keep 10 inches of fish
