I have a 46 bow with fish and coral. I am using a Prizm skimmer.LFS suggest a hob refugium. I want to upgrade skimmer to Remora. What should I do first???

if your upgrading your skimmer, go with something better than the remora.
do you have a sump? if you decide to go with a fuge, it may be easier to add a bulkhead/ overflow that leads to another tank under your DT (to use as a sump/fuge) rather than add the HOB fuge. itll most likely be more cost effective as well.

No sump, I am limited on space. From what I have been reading most do not like the Prizm.

i would definetly upgrade from the prizm, just not to a remora. look into the coralife super skimmer 65.

My main question is what would bennefit me more a better skimmer or refugium..

skimmer if its a good brand/ decent skimmer.
if you have a p04 problem or nitrate problem, the fuge wouldnt be a bad idea.
