I am going off to college next year and am planning on buying a new nano tank to set up in my dorm. I've read a lot about them, but I was just wondering if anyone has particular preferences to one brand over another. Thanks for the help!
well i know many people will be argueing on the jbj nano and the biocube.
i was looking for the thread that had the same questions. it really depends on how much gallons you want. the biocube (i have) is an amazing tank! i love the way it is and everything about it as well. the space in the back to make a fuge is awsome! the jbj is 24g the biggest i guess. idk why but it didnt get my attention. maybe it was the box lol

I just ordered a 12 gal nano cube to replace my 12 gal Aquapod. I looked into the Biocubes too. I liked the nano cube better.
why is it that you like the nano cubes better? I am just trying to get a feel for what is the best.
i like the cubes better cause the lights, and space it has! way bigger and much better filtration! well thats me! lol i wish you luck brother! if you were me go with the biocube!
I went with the nano cube over the bio cube because I couldn't find a replacement hood for the bio. I'm not saying they don't exist, but I couldn't find one. I found one for the nano cube right away for $83.
I also have the 6 gal. nano cube so I figured I'd keep it in the family.
Plus I think I like the look of the nano better.
