I was looking at my gsp colony (the only coral in my tank that isnt doing well) and i noticed a small orange spot of algea. Anyone know what it is?

Also, Does anyone have any ideas for me so i can help this thing. Ive tried pulling the bubble algea off but i cant get a grip on them without popping them, and ive tried siphoning them off.
Thanks
Hunt.

I'm interested Ive got some of the same on a few rocks. When I got it the guy at the LFS said it was good and takes a long time to get orange.

I believe it's just another form of coraline. I have a bunch of it on my rocks. At first I thought it was sponge, but I really think it's coraline.

that would be so cool to have orange coraline algea.
Any advice on how to get all the algea off the coral. It was only a 5 dollar frag, but i want it to look as good as it can.

Once the GSP grows it will cover the coralline and you will not be able to see it. I can't see the bubble algae on the rock. Is it green single bubbles or bubbles on a vine?

The orange algea apears to be on the coral mat, along with the bubble algea which seems to be single red bubbles (in the picture)

I just noticed the coral was moved to the left a bit, and like half the bubbles are gone upp to the little stalk thing. Did something eat it or did they pop
