Hey guys I picked up a nice piece of orange carnation and it kind of seem like it is wilting or something not as nice as it looked yesterday i have it at the bottom of the tank and my tank is a 120 tall with compact florc lights should i move it more to the shade?? or what

I don't know anything about them, but the description says very low light and HIGH flow
I am thinking a tall 120 with FL lights would be considered low lighting
also...IMO since you just put it in yesterday, I would let it get settled
how's your water parameters??

all the water paramaters are great and all normal as usual but just wanted to make sure or know if they would rather be in the shade or what want to make it happy

All the carnations that pass through my workplace, do way better in the shade. Flow never mattered, but even in the mildest light, they faded, wilted and looked all sickly. Complete shade is where I've seen them the happiest.

Carnation corals are photosynthetic, so actually they need zero light.
Hanging upside down in the cave, with strong water flow (though indirect, not a powerhead blasting it directly) seems the best results. However, carnations have dismal, to say the least, success rates. Keep an eye on it, and pull it when the coral inevitably turns south...

I heard they usually dont do well in at home aquariums.
I was going to buy a pink one, but then I read that and said forget about it.
Hopefully you have luck with them!

Put it in an open cave...water flows over it and past it, not just at it. They don't like light at all. Low in the tank won't help.
