I read that you have to have a refugium to house one of these gobies or other sand-sifters. Is this true? I have a FOWLR tanks with plenty of LR and LS. I don't have a refugium though. I have a wet/dry and canister. Thanks

Nice size established good tank with plenty of LS and excellent water conditions, and you should be fine, what other tank mates? Be prepared for clloudy water and tunnels the first 3 or 4 days and also be prepared to not seeing him for a week or 2,, thats just how they are..

It's a 72 gallon. I better give it a while though since my tank is new. I'd just like to have something that sifts through the sand.

FYI, they are also jumpers. Beautiful fish. My two spot goby is doing a good job on my sand. They are also called four wheel gobies.
