Orange Flatworms....

I posted a few months ago regarding this infestation of orange flatworms. The best advise I received was to let them take their course and they would die out. Well, they are not! I can't find any solutions to ride my tank of these things. They are so thick in spots that they cover the coraline algae and give the appearance of orange LR. They hang out in large numbers towards the bottom of the tank. They don't seem to be bothering any corals.....Aside from their unsightly appearance there isn't any problems.
Someone has to have a solution to this epidemic !!1

I have heard of trapping them in a trap put what they are eattin on in a trap or something they may go to and catch them in a fish trap which will run you about 25 to 30dollars.Or the other thong is to get fish or crab which will pray on them for food.

Flatworn eXit for flatworms
Interceptor for red bugs (SPS)
Getting healthy Velvet nudi's are hit and miss and a little expensive (IMO and do not tolerate high current areas).

I don't have any little red bugs, at least not since college..

Banguy said they couldn't be treated with Flatworm exit and that they would have to run their course. Anyone had any experience or success fighting these #-!TARDS.
thanks

I'd offer up a thread about them but I believe the pics are all gone. Are we sure these are red planera flatworms? I've used both the Blue velvet nudibranch and flatworm exit.

I'm not sure of anything other than my tank is infested with little orange squares. The front half is squared off, the back half comes to three little points. They hang out in shaded areas on LR and coral bases. They don't seem to be on or eating any corals..... They are on the glass also. They have been noticable in the tank since Jan maybe. Now they are so thinck the LR in spots look orange. They don't swim or seem to move around. Really noticable when the MH are on in the day...... :notsure:

FWE and dose the whole system including the skimmer. Just shut off the bubbles and follow the directions. I did 1.5X the dose and had to do it twice to get them all.
