orange Ricordea

I purchased a piece of live rock from the lfs with 6polys of orange ricordea on it. It was in my tank for 2 days and then I went out and bought 40lbs. live rock from a different lfs. The next morning I checked the tank and 4 polys were gone. That night when moon lights came on I noticed movement under a rock and saw a crab which I did not purchase.The next morning the other 2 polys were gone.Did the crab eat ricordea? The fish I have are .
1 yellow tang
2 clowns
1 flame angel
2 fire fish
Please help I want to get more ricordea :help: :help: :help:

Try to get a picture of the crab and then we can see what kind it is and see if thats it or not...

I think it was an emerald crab?

Was the extra 40 lbs. of live rock you bought fully cured? If it wasn't, it may have polluted your water and the polyps became stressed and detached from the rock and floated somewhere.

very possible, or that type of bristle that likes to eat them, they usually come with Hatian rock....
