orange sponge ?

i know it needs high flow..but not sure about light requirement..should it be placed on bottom or mid level or top..thanks to all who respond

sponge requires little to no light in order to live, it gets all of its nutrients by filtering the water, no symbiotic algae are located in its flesh, high flow, never expose to air, feed phyto on regular basis, good luck, sponge is hard to keep alive for long

I have this one... its doing great... i give my corals reef roids every other day and it loves the lights and the placement that i have it. Got it at my lfs he had it in the sand at the base part...and put it in my tank and so far so good.

does look good..how long have u had it...i had it at top of tank (via lfs said loves light) thought i would ask here...now on bottom..looks better already....i feed phyto every 3 days..does it only filter feed that or would it filter feed the frozen homemade mix also? great lookin tank by th way

I feed mine phyto everyother day and cyclo-eeze 2-3 times a week. High flow. Here is a pic of mine that I have had for a couple weeks.

I hope it will do well.
