sun corals are non-photosynthentic so finde a shady spot for then under a ledge is good. this also means you HAVE to spot feed them, give them a varied diet and they will grow. oh and you have to do this after you turn the lights out till u train them to open durring the day.

do you know the diet? I feed my other corals phytoplangton and trace elements. Is there anything special I need to add to that?

add somthing meatier like mysis, choped krill, and choped up silversides, and a formula 1 every now and then. these things are beautiful but you actually have to take care of them unlike other corals tha u can just dose and turn lights on

i do turn off the powerheads for feeding time but u can also cut the top off a pop bottle so u have a little dome and put that over ur frag and feed thru the opening. formula is a frozen food that comes in little cubes and has a mix of veggie and meats in it, i like to feed my corals that every once in a while to give them a nice varied diet
