Orchid Dottyback Vanished???

Anyone. Received Orchid Dottyback, Clarki clown and a Blue Haddoni Anenome last Friday from FlyingFish. I left the lights off for about 4hrs and then turned them on only to find that the Orchid Dottyback has vanished. I haven't seen him since last friday when I dropped him into the tank. What could have ate him? Besides what I ordered, I have a purple Tang and a Blue Headed Wrasse, some Sally's, an Emerald Crab and some snails and such... He simply vanished in a 4hr window never to be seen again...

Are you sure he's not hiding? Did it jump, have you checked the floor? Are you sure it didnt die, and not get eaten? Was the fish properly acclimated? Was anything beating it up?

I just added a dottyback this weekend and I could not find him for a while. The two damsels were picking on him at first, so he found a good hiding space in the rock. If I can't find him now, I just look in one cave that he likes and then I can usually see one of his eyes.

Well, last night I checked the floor, the overflow, the sump, every cave from the front of the tank and right side of the tank. Poof... Vanished. Oh well... <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" /> Bob Fenner told me that it may have been my Blue-Headed Wrasse. Maybe he is right...
