Congrats! I've been waiting to see one of these. Thought about selling the Corvette to get one. I can't wait to see pictures!

Sounds like you know about it a little bit uh? Yes I did, I really like it, they did a really good job with the ******** which IMO was the early Camaro's weak point.
Yes sir! I am a pretty big GM die-hard. I was planning pretty hard for a new Camaro myself. It would be debuting right when I would have graduated college. Unfortunately school is taking longer then planned. The other problem is the resale value of Cadillacs. They're going for pennies on the dollar, so a STS-V is quite affordable.

If I were to do a Camaro, it would be a 2SS RS, Cyber Gray with s/roof, ground effects, inferno rally stripes, and inferno trim package.

Passion, that's what sells cars. We are all a bunch of sheep, wait 1 year and those $35k cars can be had for $20k with 12-18k on the odo.

I'd like to be the frist to request a nice, healthy BURNOUT pic. (a video would be great
)

That can be arranged.....I'm trying to find some of my old pictures of my 97, running the quarter at 9.79, Here is a pic of a "small" wheelie.

If I was going to do it I would go the extra 10 grand and get the Mustang GT 500. The Camaro looks better than they have in years but that rear end is FUGLY IMO.
Then again I can pick up a pretty clean 57 Belair in great street shape for 18 grand. Only has a 283 but that is easily fixed

Everyone has their own cup of tea. As for the GT 500....it barely out performs the SS in a couple of categories, but with that extra 10 g's I could have the camaro running in the 9's and streetable.

Yeah but it still wouldn't look as good

For pure unadulterated street performance on a per dollar basis the Vette is still king of the hill in most of the "so called" expert's eyes. But like you said different strokes. I really like the new Challenger, too bad it is a Dodge

Yeah the vette is still the top as it is meant to be, but around my area they are a dime a dozen. I'm hoping my car will be more rare. And I can't do a two seater anymore, even if the back seat is tiny.
I love the challenger actually but prefer the camaro all around.

Pretty excited needed to tell somebody......After much convincing I got my wife to go with me to the Chevy dealership. Put down 500 bucks and my custom ordered SS will be here in July
I sold my last Camaro to surprise her with an engagment ring last year, so I have been trying really hard to get this one. This thing is so sick, out performs the Challenger and Mustang by leaps and bounds, esp. in a straight line. I ordered orange with the RS package. Well just had to get that off my chest, I already called everyone I know.

Nice looking car.
My v6 accord coupe can outperform a mustang or challenger by leaps and bounds tho..

How much rice per gallon do you get?
LOL, Oh we were having a friendly debate. I actually own both as previously stated, but when I want to have fun I will jump in the american made SS. Or the bike which is japanese. So see I can do both.
