Ordering From SWF.com?

ive talked to people and they said its a really good web site. i plan to order all my coral and some fish when i get my bigger tank from this website.

I've placed six orders on swf. I've been really pleased with the stuff I have recieved (mostly fish and inverts, a few corals). I've had two DOA's but they took care of both of them, the only downside to that being you have to place another order for them to send your replacement. I've also been on the waiting list for some things for 3 months, but the majority of the stuff that I've been waiting on has come in fairly quickly. They can be hard to get ahold of-no phone # listed on site and they don't always reply to emails. But like I said before their stuff is nice quality and the free shipping is great considering I paid 35 bucks for shipping on the Drs. site and was NOT pleased with what I recieved.

yeah, you have to order $79 worth of stuff for the free shipping and then their is a $10 handling charge and a $6 dollar fuel charge, so I guess it isn't really free. :thinking: but it's still cheaper then the shipping rates at other places.

I just received an order a few days ago and was really happy. Everyone (royal gamma $1.99!! great sale was going on!, brittle star fish, hermit crabs (free with order since i am frequent) and corals) arrived in great conditiona nd is doing really well!
The dry goods you don't have to have a minimum and it is hard to purchase $79 of fish when you already have a stocked tank. It's easy if you are buying corals though!

I've only ordered once from SWF but I was very pleased with the health and condition of the fish and invert (orange linkia) and would not hesitate to order from them again. Everything acclimated well and I have had no problems with anything I ordered. The fish were in perfect condition even with the shipping. I highly recommend this site for ordering! :cheer: :happyfish

I have ordered a couple of times. The first time one fish was DOA and the other died within a matter of days. I ordered again a couple months later and both fish were replaced, survived and are thriving well....

My last order was placed on a Wed. night, fish came mid day Friday
They looked like I had just picked tem up at the LFS.
I expected a small arrow crab-got a LARGE one, but he is doing great.
I havent had anything even come close to croaking
I always do a water change before they come and make sure everything in the tank is sparkling
get them out of the bags quickly and into your buckets, then acclimate slowly with a drip line.
