OT: Freshwater tank fish

Hello.
I have a Black molly (sp) in my freshwater tank i was watching my Golden Snails (two) eat one of my sharks that died. I looked at the top of the water and I saw a baby fish. Its from to black molly (sp) but what i need to know is do they lay eggs or do they have live babys, if so how many etc. cause I have been watching for ten minutes and have not seen any more

theres probably alot more that you cant see yet. they hide everywhere including between the gravel till they are big enough to fend for themselfs.

I had a freshwater tank with only 4 platys. I removed the fish in July, but left the tank setup. About a month ago, I found 2 baby platys. They are really cute. I am going to help them grow to about an inch or so and then return them to my LFS also.
