OT: I Needed a laugh!

With all the news turned to war, and it being almost the only thing you see when you turn the tv on these days, last night I felt the need to have a good laugh.
I tuned to the comedy channel and watched the Anna Nichol Smith Show, OMG, is she really that much of a flake?
Does anyone watch this? Is she serious or is it just a act?

I've seen some of the previews and commercials for the show, and I don't really know what to think. ET or Extra, one of the two, had a report on the "secret meetings" that the producers of the show had regarding ratings, and it was reported that the stupider they made her look, the higher the ratings. So, I think she is actually like that, and it's the producers who make it seem so fake, because they are the ones who are pushing her in that direction. The commercials for it are hilarious, but I would get sick seeing a whole program, because it's a shame someone could be like that.

I did turn the TV on and that person was on. She is drugged, I think. She talks, walks and acts like a zombie. Needless to say, I didn't stay tuned for very long. The site of her chomping on hotdogs like a cow on TV was too much for me.....And what about all those dating shows on lately?? Do people actually watch that stuff!?

I disagree - the osbornes show is a huge train wreck - but yet I find myself strangley fascinated with watching it (on those rare occasssions I am up that late). As for Anna Nicole the answer is YES .... she is that big of a ditz ....

It makes it hard for me to believe that any one person can humiliate themselves as much as she does and not be drunk or high. As for the Osbournes, I stay away, it's too tough to figure out what Ozzy is saying!

I will say it loud, but not proud. I love to watch this show, at least for a little bit. It is amazing at how gorgeous and attractive she thinks she is. But she is just a big, fat, ugly, dumb as a box of rocks blob.
I may be as dumb, but I do not think this show is that produced. I truly believe that is her. Just watch the beginning of the show and they make fun of her in that. She could not even pass a drivers test even whil trying to cheat off her slime ball of a "lawyer".
Then there are the people that idolize her. How the he$$ can they look up to someone like that. Why is the lawyer always with her???
As said before it is a total train wreck. I will watch, but as you can guess I have absolutely no respect for her.

I was hooked on it last season, but do more with SWF this time around
The odd thing is that she has those intro bits where she seems 'with it' and the rest she seems totally drugged. But I think without Bobby Trendy (I only assume he is not on this season), why bother? And I think that her lawyer/friend/bought man is a bit chubbier too, at least in the preview I saw a while back.
Just doesn't appeal to me as much yet this season, but I suspect it will eventually. I think it is the 'car wreck' phenomena, as mentioned.

I have a toy plastic suctuction cup dart that I shoot at the T.V. when I see her and various other actors and actresses that just dont belong to be on T.V. It is very theriputic and makes channel surfing more like hunting. New guest get a rise out of it too.
