OT: Killing freshwater crawfish ?

I have a creek bed that runs behind my house. Every heavy rain I find crawfish dens in my yard. Big unsightly mounds of dirt coming out of my well groomed grass. I have asked at home depot, lowes, called into pest control talk radio and nothing. I have poured gas down the hole, sprinkled cayanne pepper with jalapeno juice, even taped black cats to a coat hanger and stuff and blow and I can't get rid of them!!!! There has to be a logical way to make them uncomfortable in my yard and move on or killing them ALL would be better.
Any suggestions?

Hey Racoons are one of their natural predators ..... I've heard that lime will kill them as well (the kind you buy @ a farm supply place for pouring into an outhouse). But it will kill your grass and burn your hands if not careful....

Yeah, enlist my boyfriend to keep them as pets and I guarantee you they'll all die.
How bout a big annual craw broil?
The options are endless :D
