I remember in one of our e-mails you said besides cars and tanks, another hobby of yours, like mine, is shooting. And you have some nice things collected.
Any ARs?
If so, what do you know about em?
I think Im in the market for one. They're fun. :D

What brands are you looking at? I like the real deal the best...Colts. Olympic Arms, Bushmaster, Cavalry Arms, etc. all make their AR 15's as well. Check out www.gunbroker.com They have more AR's than you can look at. HTH. Bo

I thought you guys were weenies (not really!)
Gun talk. That wakes me up.
I have been aquiring military rifles for a long time.
I got my AR years ago when I had money.
Now all my money goes to the tank!

A2 refers to the upper reciever, sites fixed with a carry handle,
A3 the sights and handguard are removable for a flat top to add a scope or other optics with rings, thats what I have,
A4 is completly a flat top to add a scope or other optics,:)
WEENIES, Reef tanks are cooler than a Thompson with a 100 rd drum, well maybe not that cool,

M16/AR15 hangs easily when dirty...gets dirty easy. Try you a good old russian SKS. It's cheaper, more accuracte, longer ranges, easier to modify. If you can get guns easily and want a real toy try a SAW. When I was with the SP's in the air force they let me shoot one. Can we all say ROCK-N-ROLL? That baby will sling some insane lead.:D

Bushmaster makes an incredably accurate .223...just ask that punk Malvo and the other piece of trash he was with...

My fiance has a Bushmaster AR-15 that I absolutely love! he has it accurate down to a 1/4" MOA. We were using it the other day to shoot quarters at 150 yards. Anyway they are awesome guns, but are kinda exspensive. If you wanted to talk guns with him he is a fanatic and would love someone to talk to.....I kinda get tired of it!!!!!!!!
This is her fiance. Its actually a DPMS rifle. Its a Panther Bull Sweet 16 (www.dpmsinc.com). Its the 16" bull barrel that I've hand lapped the barrel on. J&P trigger with a 4-16 x 44 scope on it (A3). Its favorite load is 26.7gr Hodgdon Varget with a 52gr Hornady BTHP on top, CCI primer seated to a COL of 2.24". My smallest group at 100 yards is .24". I'm the local "AR Smith" around here. I just had to correct Michelle on that one as I hate Bushmasters and their chrome lined bore!

Ah Michelle, I just saw your post. Just wanted you to know that your frags are on the way. And if there is anything wrong with it to let me know. Please let me know. I am bigger than a quarter and I am sure that you could hit me. Although I would be running, so I would be a moving target.:D .
If I knew you had a Bushmaster I would have driven out there and delivered it myself.

You might want to have here open up the box and then open up the container and put it under a flourescent light, or even by a window. It might help to get them a couple hours of light instead of being in the dark box.

PS. Congrats on the wedding. When is it?

Okay...I'll have her get them open so they can get some light. I should be able to pick them up in about 2 hours. We are getting married on May 24th.....just 9 days away! Then we're off to Hawaii!
