OT: primer and cement

is this primer and cement safe to use on my system. i had to use it on pvc.

Thats the kind that i use. But i let mine "air out" for a coupla days, and then run water from the hose throu it for about 2 hours before i put it in my colum. I dunno if it makes any diff, or if i am just paranoid

I also was told to give it 48 hours to air out. I just blew some air though it after to get the fumes out.

That is exactly what I used...I waited 24 hrs before placing the pvc anywhere near my tank.
