Iam having a real hard time diciding weather to get a ps2, an xbox, or just getting games for my PC.
help me decide, list what u like and why.

I personally don't like playing games on my PC. Can't get the same feel for the games like you do on a game console. I prefer my big 'ol beanbag chair in front of the TV. :D
Can't help ya decide on the other question though. We've got a GameCube and a GBA.

FWIW... I've got an Xbox that I'm very happy with as a game system. It's a terrible DVD player, but an excellent game system. I think the controllers are much more comfortable than the PS2 controllers.

ive used both (ps2 and xbox)
the ps2 is good (theres a ps3 in the works) and have a large selection of games
xbox is basically a computer, so you wont need to buy memory cards. also you can download music onto your xbox to have playing while you play games. xbox has a lot of games just like ps2, but it has a monoply on halo (one of the best selling games ever)
i also play pc games
imo game systems are good for sport games and action, shooting games
pcs are better suited for strategy games.

yeah thats what i was thinking, microsoft owns xbox and they have the money to make more and better games but i just cnat decide!!!!! Its driving me freaking crazy. I dont want to buy a consel and not like it or somehting else come out. Any idea when ps3 is coming out?

I was debating over this when the XBox first came out. I was all set on getting an XBox but ended up coming home with a PS2. I was so dissapointed in the PS2. After 2 days of dealing with bad graphics and long loading times I exchanged it for an XBox. No regrets then and none now. XBox slaughters the PS2 IMO. The one thing PS2 had going for it is games but in the last year or so the XBox has caught up. Not to mention we have Lord Gates pockets to back us up.

XBox all the way.
I mostly play games on my PC though and really only play Desert Combat/BF1942.

I know a bunch of people who work at Toys R Us. Word from them is that PS3 will hit retail shelves in 2005 at the earliest, probably 4th quarter 2005.

I have a Ps2 and a gamecube. In my opinion Ps2 is better because there is a way bigger selection of games for it(the final fantasy series rocks!!), you can play your playstation 1 games on it and you can play DVD's and music CD's without buying a $40.00 remote. On the X-box you have to have the remote before you can play movies or music cd's. I've never been dissappointed with mine and I've had it since the first year they were put out and it's still running strong! I bought a gamecube too, because you gotta have Mario and Zelda, LOL. :joy:
