OT: Working on sat sucks

I have to go to bed soon. I get up for work at 3:15 am. Talk about killing a friday night. Anyone else have to work tomorow?

I know how you feel. The shipping deleys UPS had dealing with the winter storm ment half my calls went unresolved Thurs. and Fri. and I will have to run all the left over calls today. For a very long Sat 10 to 12 hrs.

Dude, slothy... I sooooooooooooo feel ya bro.
Not only do I work overnights, I work weekend overnights.
I work Saturday morning (friday night) until Tuesday morning 1am -11am four days a week.
It sux for my social life. But it is worth the investment. Ugh. Thats why all my posts happen late night.

i get to pull a 10 hr dy at good ole home depot today. 1230 to 1030. not to excited for that so im trying to screw around as much as possible right now!

I always have to work the weekends,I'm a chef.I usually get home around 11 or midnight now.My previous job,last month,would keep me there on the weekends until 3 or 4am.Made for a 12-13 hour day.I'm glad that's over!Did it for 4 years!

lol, working on saturday.
I have no idea what anyone is complaining about, my job is 7 days, 42 hrs a day(so it seems). But I like it, i often go in at 9 or 10am and don't get home til 2 am. M-Sat. Sundays are optional, but normall wind up being at least 6 hrs(just to get things done)

Well i am at work also. i work from 4:30 am to 5 pm 3 days then i get 3 days off and it just keeps going like that. the 12 1/2 hrs sucs but the 3 3 days off is great. oh did i say i play with guns all day. its a real hard job. LOL

Atleast you get to work in the day, I am going in tonight at 5:30 and don't get off until 5:30 tomorrow morning.

heeeeey! i've been at work for the last 48 hrs and now it is sat morn. 1152 ca. time. there are no holidays off in the fire biz. and most nights we get up at least a couple of times after midnight. (sometimes 5-7 times )
yeah working on sats/sun when the kid have things to do and games to play is a bummer but you try to be there for them and let them know that working is the adult thing to do. so enjoy the time that you have now because it will soon be over.
and thank you for all the mommies who get up/and stay up at night with the sick kid(s) while the other kids have no clue as to why mommy is so whupped out the next day.

I can't believe with the way the economy is you are complaining about working! Have you watched the news lately? We as a country have the highest unemployment rate in 20 years. Think of the 6 MILLION Americans who aren't working.
