She was adopted. The lady who gave her to me said they wanted to give her to someone who wouldn't eat her.

Thanks Fishman! We adopted her... her owner ("friend" of my husband's mom) dropped her off at our house for what was supposed to be a week long dogsitting favor...three months later we called the jerk and asked him what kind of heartworm medacation she was on so we could make sure she was taken care of properly, he said "I don't know, by the way, If you don't keep her, I'm sending her to the pound......I am moving and I am not taking her with me". :nope:
The poor thing was 5 years old and had never been to the vet. Needless to say, Taylor has been with us for almost a year and a half, she is the sweetest pup on the planet and I couldn't give her up for the world...
