The vette is run in super-gas in NHRA and super-rod in IHRA. We will also bracket race it at big money races and at our local track. I went 7.41 at 179mph, it will probably go a little quicker if I launch and shift at higher RPMS. On the 7.41 - 179mph pass I launched at 3000 and shifted at 5800. We will have to choke it down alot for super-gas/rod racing. The dragster in the pic runs either super-comp (NHRA) or quick-rod(IHRA) or I also race it in a class called "top-dragster" which is just a fast bracket class. It has run 7.0's on all motor. Both the vette and dragsters motors use 12 degree pro-filer heads (we love these heads)....

Collecting cartoon character vintage toys from the 1940's-70's including Popeye, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Howdy Doody, and all Hanna barbera charater toys. I also have an extensive vintage Laurel & Hardy Collection and some vintage 3 Stooges Toys. This is my 25th year in the hobby.

oh yeah, i forgot, mimzy, you reminded me, i LOVE to charcoal
Funny story, too. in college i took this introductory art class where we were supposed to be using like 8 different mediums throughout the course. However, our teacher had this thing where she wouldn't let us move on until we mastered the first. So, we ended up doing charcoal for the entire semester. Luckily i didn't buy all of the supplies on my list, but everyone else did... there were some pissed off people in that class.

My hobbies are
I love my fish tanks.
My daughter abby (2yrs old)
My dogs (3 pitbull's) they are my babies. Two are show dogs , one does weight pulling, the third is just my pal. she doesn't do anything except beg for cookies.
I collect starwars toys . the last time I priced out my collection it was close to 10,000 $ worth of plastic. I have a room in my house thats nothing but starwars toys. and there is still more packed away in totes.
Cars I love all cars but the hot rods, and muscle cars are the best. I can deal with the imports but to me theres nothing like watching a 4000 pound car launch off the line front wheels airborn. ANybody can throw money at a car and make it fast its the old timers that went fast with out computers , nitrous and carbon fibber that I respect.
Guns , My glock21 is my american express card . I never leave home without it. But I have also never felt the need to pull it out . My mossberg has seen the woods more than smoky the bear. I also have an HK 308 thats a blast to shoot. I'm thinking of a M1A1 in the future as well as a AR-15.
Yes I'm making up for other things

Mitzel - if you don't mind my asking, are u m or f? Reason I'm asking is ergonomics of your glock - I need a small carrying card myself and the ladysmith is the only thing that fits me so far b/c the mag releases on most handguns r too hard for me to reach unless I use both hands. ...no good in a pinch.
as for the AR-15.... I learned to shoot on one, and it has become my obsession. once you go AR, you never go back

Walther P-99 has a very comfortable grip (I have short fingers) as well as ambidextrous mag release. Sig also has comfy grips, but I'm not sure on the mag release.
Also own AR-15 w/24" stls bull barrel, SKS Sporter, Colt .45 Double Eagle, Walther P-99, Walther P-22 & Ruger 10/22 w/ bullpup conversion. I used to buy and sell a lot, but not for about 3 yrs. Still keep up my C&R license.
Other hobby....1957 Chevy.
