Just wanting an update. Have you given the Starfish back yet? I hope you have, and if not, I hope you will :happyfish

I do have 2 starfish in my 29Gal Bio Cube. 1 is a red brittle star doing quite well but you never really see her out. Every now and then you see a tenticle sticking out from somewhere. And I have another star fish all I know it to be called is a red sea star. I have a post on here, an older one that has a pic of it. Its is doing very well does not get picked on and loves the back of my tank most likley due to the algea that grows there. She is always there, and in plain view. I actually got her when the tank was quite new, and almost 2 months later she is still doin her thing.

I have not given the starfish back as of yet. Still working on contacting the owner of the LFS. Meanwhile the starfish is eating meaty foods and has been moving around. Another option I have will be the 100 gallon tank I am setting up now. Thanks for the concern.

Perfect Dark,
The Red star is a hardier species (Fromia) than the Linckia species. Gratz on keeping them happy and healthy. It is amazing how much information is on the web. I have been using Fenner's, "Conscientious Marine Aquarists" as my main guide. It however makes no mention of tank size requirements or how susceptiable Linckia are to "Travel Trauma".
