Our First DOA :-(

We had our first DOA today...our Desjardinii Sailfin :-( Very sad. Everything else is ok.

Sorry to hear. Is this DOA from a online store? I am sure they have some kind of DOA warrantee.

Yeah, it's from SWF...just very sad. We were very excited about this new addition too.

Well, just give them a call, I am sure they will work with you. I can not tell you how many reef chromis I am going through, I just dont get it.

Yeah, we know all the guarantee and money back stuff. That really stinks though. We paid shipping for a tiny goby and a coral technically.
In response to the post above, I wouldn't let it discourage you. This is our first DOA and we've been ordering for over a year with SWF. Plus, we've found that the fish we received from online are always much more beautiful than the ones in our specialty LFS. And a much better price.

I've had one DOA since ordering from SWF (it was the one I really wanted to add to the tank also) and I think only one that died within the 15 days. Yes you are out the shipping, but the quality of the livestock they sell is much better than my LFS.
