An aquarium is a closed environment. What you put in it pretty much stays unless you remove it. This is typically done through skimming and/or filtration. Carbon might eventually remove enough of it to not screw with you skimmer, but that could be a long process. As snakeblitz33 posted... water changes. That will be the fastest way. The sooner you get it out, the sooner you'll be able to start skimming. I skim 24/7. If it's been awhile since you were able to use the skimmer in that tank, it's probably time for a water change anyway. Carbon alone can only do so much. A single 50% water change should be enough to make the skimmer usable, and any minute residue left from the epoxy should get removed by the skimmer and carbon. Let us know how it works out.I did hear that, and I did use instant ocean apoxy for about 4 frags all at once. However like I said that's been about 2-3 weeks ago. And I have been using carbon. How long before the effects wear off?
