Not sure if this counts, but my grandmother was born in Germany, my mother in England and me in the States. Three generations all born in different countries. We're not Italian, but you said you wanted to hear things.

My mother's family immigrated to canada from Brindisi about a month before she was born....but I've only been once, when I was three...so I think it barely counts ;)
I'd love to go again, brush up on my Italian... I "know" a lot, but when it comes to actualy conversations I lack practice. (oddly enough I've had dreams in fluent Italian) Plus I think I only know dialect so that doesn't help ;)

I'm half Italian born in CA, my mother born in CA is 100%, my maternal grandparents born here in CA are 100% (duh), my grandmother's parents (Bravin's) came here from Coltura, Pordenone above Venice and my grandfather's parents (Banducci's) came here from Tassignano, Tuscany near Florence. Both families came a few years after the turn of the century. I found them on a ship's manifest through the Ellis Island site. But, if you were really paying attention you'd see that I am a 3rd generation Californian and my grandchildren are 5th generation, you talk about rare.........lol!
