Does it say on their machines when it was last serviced?
I'm just wondering if you tried switching to machines elsewhere if it might help...who knows.

The machine does have a sticker where the tech signs when he services it.Its usually serviced once a week.BUT,My wife has been picking up my water for me because of the overtime i've been working,So I havn't checked to see.
I will try another one though,I think Bi-Lo has one.
Thanks for the help.

Ophiura,I do use the machine at wal-mart,along with my own jugs.I will be buying my own ro/di system in the near future though.Just waiting to free up some cash flow.
As of right now,i'm stuck with the wal-mart water.
I started running it consistantly after my hair algae outbreak last summer and have not had a problem since i started using it. Change out once a month

Hmm, that's interesting. I checked out several places to see if I could find a cheaper alternative than the Refreshe brand which is de-ionized and reverse osmosis purified. The Wal-mart water here, didn't specifically say "RO" so I passed on it.

I been getting mine out of a Culligan ro machine at the wal-mart. 33 cents a gallon.
