So I just got back from the Outer Banks and have a few pics to share. I should be getting some more in a short time as others with me develope theirs. We stayed at Frisco campgrounds which is the best one on the islands. off NC coast. I befriended a hot little ranger chick and she took me out to a reef in the sound. Yeah.... made of spare tires... get that    Anyway, I wasnt aware before how many different tropical fish swim up this far. Here are a few pics mainly from surf fishing. I was triggers, bat fish, angels, and even dog face. On another day we did a little fish hunting with the metal barbs. Caught Tuna, dozens of black tip sharks, a bull shark, blue fish, Baracuda, and kobia (sp?) Only kept the tuna and kobia, great eating. I highly recommend it the place is great for fishing, lounging, fires on the beach, windsurfing.... Oh yeah and sand on the beaches at least twelve inches deep. Soft sand. Beats Myrtle by a land slide...
So here is a pic of the ship that washed up during our stay.. Some baby sharks we caught and released as well as a small skate. We actually saw schools of skates, up to a dozen, swimming together off the pier and it looked really cool. We released the skates we caught as well. A pic of a small rock crab, not sure what kind, and some pics of the Hatteras lighthouse
