Can I over dose my tank? I going to use co2 calcium reactor, I also like using two part calcium. Is this to much?
I'm setting up a 75 gallon tank and want to keep sps and claims.

yes you can 425 is a good place to be, and the only real way to lower it is a water change. just keep on it.

You will get excessive evaporation if levels get too high. I'm not really sure how but it seems to hold true.

If you overdose calcium then it will literally fall out of the water and settle on your rockwork as a "powder."
There is little point to using a two part solution and a calcium reactor. Use your calcium reactor, but then instead of the two part solution get a bottle of buffer or use baking soda to buffer the tank. There is no need for the "calcium half" of the two-part solution.

I like this, i would if you can blow it off the rock before a water change, and filter change as to rid the tank of all the build up but don't over doo it or it could cause the tank to stress with the change. But get that junk off the rock.
