Is it possible to over feed a porc puffer? He ate 3 feeder fish that were larger than normal and is is now just sitting on the tank floor.

Its possible to over feed any fish but very unlikely they will die from eating to much. He's probably just digesting right now and being lazy. They do that from time to time. Try to ween him off of feeder fish they are not his natural fare and could do more harm then good in the long run....

Do not feed your pork feeder fish, its a recipe for disaster. Pork are a fish that will happily accept plenty of stuff.
FEEDER's = BAD
This is assuming they are fw feeders.

Freshwater feeders are very fatty and will cause health problems for SW fish in the long-run.
Living in the ocean can a porcupine puffer eat a freshwater fish? No. They don't go together.
When I had a porky in my last tank, I used to go to the grocery store and buy what is called chowder mix. It would have a mixture of things like cod, squid, shrimp, etc. This kind of thing makes an excellent meal for larger fish. You can also refreeze what you don't use right away.
Also, at your LFS, ask them if they have any "bigger" foods. Most foods will be available in larger sizes. Things like krill and mysis shrimp are two that come to mind.
Although you puffer might look like he is enjoying that feeder fish when he eats it, it will come back to haunt him(and you) if it continues.
Hope this helps!

I've had puffers for a long time in my aggressive tank. Feeder fish are the biggest cause of short term life spans for puffers. Feeder fish, as mentioned above, are very fatty and cause liver damage in the puffers. You should immediately try and wean them off feeder fish and heads towards other marine fish flesh. Strips of squid, fish, scallops and the such on a feeding stick are the best bets. Although your puffer may hesitate for awhile, it will eventually feed off the stick.
Good Luck

Next time you go to the grocery store, visit your seafood section and get stuff there. Your fatty will eat anything there, clams, shrimp and it's cheaper than at the lfs.
I would not feed him till he stops... some fish will eat too much and I'm not sure if it will kill a fish or not (quite curious) but it can't be healthy. Space feed him, some today, some tomorrow... get a steady schedule...
