Thanks for the info Turning Tim, I'll keep the drawing in mind if I get a siphon noise from the overflow... Its quiet as a mouse so far.

Mine makes a little noise so i stuck a drinking straw with a bend into the sump drain. This way it gets air from the straw above the water and does not make any noise.
