Overnight Anemone??

I am shipping an anemone soon. I have read to ship WITHOUT water.

Do I also need to overnight it,????or will priority mail be fine .

i would overnight it. the only thing i feel is safe to priority mail is shrooms and zoas.

I'll be shipping an anenome as well, i dont see though why they are supposed to be shipped without water...

i think they should be in water and overnited. i wouldnt want renogaw to ship my anemone w/o water i think it would be a smelly mess.

that's what i'm thinking... i can't figure out why it would be suggested to be shipped dry.

swf.com ships some anemones dry as well i believe.

i have also heart about shipping them dry...seems odd to me...anemones STINK when they are dead...i'd hate to crack open a box and take a wiff of that puppy...but if all these sites are shippping them dry there must be a reason for it....

When you ship anemones out of water there's 1. less water pollution from the anemone itself during shipment especially if it gets disturbed during transport. 2. Anything shipped in water is certain to get sloshed around a great deal during transport. Anemone without water shouldn't get sloshed around nearly as much as one riding waves in it's bag when it's box is getting driven around and carried.
