Overstocking Question

I have a 55g FOWLR that currently houses 4 damsels and a cleanup crew. Would adding a star and some urchins make the tank overstocked? Thanks

I dont think it would do anything except add to the visual excitement of your tank. In a 55 gallon it doesn't sound like you have any overstocking issues, and the species you would be adding are closer to being scavengers, who would probably help with any excess waste. Sounds like a nice tank, post some pics!! :joy:

depending on waht you want in your tank later on i would look at getting rid of the damsels. IMO they are a pain in the butt

You'll need lotsa LR and a mature reef for most of the aesthetically pleasing stars. At minimum you should have a well established aquarium with top notch water parameters.
