Ozone & Mushroom Coral

G'day all!
I recently added a ozone generator to my tank and have noticed that since doing so several of my mushroom coral do not open like they use to. I do find if I turn it off they will open.
Any thoughts?
My tank does look crystal clear with it running.

Welcome to SWF.

Sorry, I do not have an answer to your question as I don't run one of these. I was just wondering why you added the ozone generator. Did you have illness/parasite problem or was there some other reason?

the mushroom corals ( corallimorphs) tend to not like pristine water....
so if you are running ozone to clear it up,,, are you also checking your oxygen and CO2 levels?
if you heighten your CO2 levels that could also have an affect on them...
but i just think its that your water quality is getting better (not a bad thing, lol)

I am running the generator at the suggestion of my local supplier. I had asked about the build up of brown diatoms and overall water quality.
