Pagoda cup coral

I was just wondering how everyone else's pagoda cups look.
Mine the "mouths" stand up about 1/2" so far up that they wave in the current!
A LFS here has a nice show tank and they have a pagoda too. It doesnt have near the extenison that mine does.
Is this normal? I feed them often so I know he isnt starving.
Just wanted to see some other examples.......

what type of light are you running? How high are they in the tank? When a coral "reaches" as you put it, they are trying to get more light... imo anyhow... It might look cool, but might not be in the coral's best interest to "reach"

Well it is nice to know Im not the only one.
When I first got it the polyps would not extend very far at all.
It has taken it about 3 months to get like this.

All pics of healthy pagodas
The one I had would never fully open and finally died. This are one case where you want polyp extension.

heres a pic of mine. its very high up in the tank, underneath a 250 w HQI MH, so its not starving for light.
